Chendamangalam Fine Thread Kasavu Saree

Chendamangalam in Ernakulam district is home to one of Kerala’s oldest handloom clusters, dating back over 700 years. This saree is woven using 100-count thread, giving it an almost gossamer quality — incredibly soft and breathable throughout Kerala’s tropical seasons.

The floral kasavu border is hand-interlaced on the loom itself, requiring over 8 hours of meticulous work per saree. GI-tagged and certified by the Chendamangalam Handloom Cluster. Includes matching blouse piece.
