Kasaragod sarees are instantly recognisable by their bold, geometric borders — a direct result of the multi-shuttle weaving technique unique to this coastal district. Multiple shuttles are threaded simultaneously on a single loom to produce the contrasting colour blocks in the border, a technique that requires extraordinary skill and coordination.

This particular design features a traditional geometric pattern that has been woven in Kasaragod for over a century. Pure handloom cotton, lightweight and easy to drape.
